I know this isn't yarn related, but I was just so giddy to have these finished in time for Christmas that I had to share them.
Oh yes, my binding arrived on time, thanks to this lovely Ebay lady.
Ta da!!!
but whilst I'm here I will indulge your yearning for yarn. I cast on my Rainbow yarn last night. I can't put it down! This is my first shawl and I'm surprised by how easy it is. I WILL be making more.
I've recently opened a facebook group for my crafty endeavours, so feel free to come and join me here

Woo hoo - you made it to yellow! I'm impressed it looks fab so far :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm on green now \o/
ReplyDeleteThe place mats look lovely. I like the white poke-a-dot material. Good luck on the shawl!
ReplyDeleteThe placemats are gorgeous, but that rainbow yarn is SO COOL!!! I just finished a rainbow gift for my daughter (hat, scarf, legwarmers), but I love the idea of a big project in that yarn!!
ReplyDeleteThe colors in your shawl are awesome. Anxious to see that progress. Very pretty placemats.
ReplyDeleteThose placemats are so cute!! I keep planning on making some, but never get around to it. I think this was the inspiration I needed!
ReplyDeleteThe shawl is beautiful. I can't wait to see it as it progresses :o)
I love your rainbow yarn, and small shawls are so much fun! The matching buttons will be nice decorations when you are done knitting.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
