It's finished and I'm really pleased that my Instagram friends made me finish it.
Unfortunately it didn't dry quite as quickly as I thought it would so here are some pictures of it blocking
I wasn't sure that the buttons I'd bought would go with the vibrant colours of the yarn, but I think they work.
In other crafty news, I received the most amazing box of craftiness from the most amazing American lady
Just this view made me go squeeeeeeee!!!!
I'm so touched her generosity.
In the sewing section, I'm working on a dress for my eldest daughter. Her school have some Jubilee celebrations coming up and have asked that the children go to school dressed in red, blue and white for the occasion. I've had a pattern for a cuppy cake dress for a while now, so I thought I'd make use of it and make her a Jubilee dress.
These are the fabrics I'm using
I started cutting the pieces yesterday and will hopefully get some done today too.
