A very special make

I've been working on this very special make for 9 months and today she made her entrance into the world.

Anara Catherine, Born today (My Grandad's Birthday) at 10.46am, weighing in at 7lb 11oz

Rheya meeting her baby sister for the first time. She's been great with her so far. So gentle and loving.

Jewellery frenzy

A couple more pieces

Close-up

I treated myself to a light box to take professional pictures of my pieces

and this is what I made for my friend Steph (but I have enough stuff to make it again) and Daniel had a quick play with the light box...it needs more time to get the lighting right but so far we love it :D

and with a pink background

Flower of envy

This is, by far, my favourite piece that I've made. I'm almost tempted to keep it myself, but instead I might make a matching bracelet...what do you think?

Fat bottom bag and soap bag

I finished crocheting Steph's bag the other day, it just needs lining now.

and because the postman didn't bring me my jewellery making bits and pieces, I was looking for something else to fill my time so I made this

It's actually a soap bag (you put your soap in it and use it as a sponge (apparently) but I think it fits my mobile phone quite nicely...haha

More jewellery

Even I'm bored of updating these...lol But I want all my makes in one place.

I made these for the winner of a competition. They attached to bookmarks.

I love this one

Tea and biscuit swap

From May 2009

I love love love joining in on swaps, so I joined the tea and biscuit swap on my forum.

So here is my pathetic attempt for you to all laugh at.

Oh and it's meant to be shortbread *hangs head in shame*

They're actually really nice, despite how they look.

Bagged up, ready to post.

I had some chocolate left over so I made Rheya some rice crispy buns

More jewellery

From May 2009

You'll recognise from the watch, but I thought it was pretty so used the remaining beads.

More jewellery making

From May 2009

It's my Mother-in-laws 50th Birthday at the beginning of June so I decided to make her a watch with interchangable straps.

Strap one

Close-up of the beads

Strap two (same watch face) I love this one....I might have to make myself one.

Close-up of the beads.

Since it's a special birthday, I bought a gift box to put it in.

I also had a go at making a book mark.

The pink beads don't show up well on this picture

Close-up

I wonder if this shows the pink beads up better? Shame I can't get a decent picture, it's really pretty :(

I'm totally addicted to jewellery making. I can sit for hours doing it.

Craft sod

I've been in such a crafty mood today.

All are bracelet and earring sets. I didn't have enough beads for necklaces.

For Daisy (sister-in-law)

for Pam (work collegue)

and for Helen (friend)
