FO Friday: Dolman Top Duex

Happy Friday! 

I made it through another week of the school holidays, that in itself is worth celebrating right?

This week I've mainly been working on my second Hitchhiker, but I did manage to make my youngest daughter her Dolman top over the weekend. She loved it so much that she insisted on wearing it to two parties.

I found this one much easier than the first 2 I made. Maybe the alcohol helped. I always seem to sew better when I'm drinking

and both tops together

WIP Wednesday: Hitchhiker

I'm still plodding along with my second hitchhiker. I'm loving the stripy rainbow that's forming. What I love about this pattern is how transportable it is.

I can take it anywhere with me, the dentist, my friends house

FO Friday: Hitchhiker and Dolman top

Happy Friday everyone! and for those with children, I hope you're enjoying the summer holidays.

I have 2 finished objects to show you this week, I know it's been a while, but I'm going to try and complete at least one sewn item a week from now on, since I've now got a place to sew. It;s not much, but it's a massive improvement on the kitchen side I was using. 

Ok onto the finished items. First up is the Hitchhiker scarf I've been working of for weeks/months. I've really enjoyed making this scarf. All those lovely little rainbows that formed on my needles were such a pleasure to look at. I will definitely be buying some more yarn from A Stash Addict



and the big ta da!!!!

and on the sewing front I made a Dolman top (pattern by Kitschy Coo)








I just have one more Dolman top to make (for my smallest) and then I'll be going back to woven fabrics only (unless someone wants to generously donate an overlocker to me)

WIP Wednesday: Another hitchhiker

Anyone that knows me, will know that I hate making anything twice (maybe that's why I'm not much of a sock person) so it's out of character for me to finish one long project and start that very same project again...but that is exactly what I've done. I really enjoyed making my last Hitchhiker scarf (pics to follow Friday) and I had another yarn that I felt was just perfect for.
