Rheya kindly modelled her dress WITH her coordinating cardigan
Last night I went round to to a friend's house for a crafty night and made one of the doll baskets I had been planning to make my girls for Easter. The doll I made a while ago, might not yet be on my blog, since I'm slowly back-dating)
The pattern is from a book my mother-in-law kindly bought me called Applique for Little Ones (Author Sylvie Blondeau) ..one down, one (or possibly 2 if I decide to make my neice one too) to go.
I love the lacey edge
My only disappointment is how it doesn't hold it's shape properly...not sure how to fix that :(

Today has been packed full of fun and playing.
After lunch, I put the youngest down for her nap and the biggest and I did some baking. Cherry vanilla cupcakes...Mmmmm...I haven't baked with Rheya for ages, so she was quite excited about it :D
Our supplies
I bought these bun cases from a new shop in Morley that sells the most beautiful things
Ta da! I was gonna pipe them but the bag is missing from the set :( I managed to make one from a food bag, but it broke after one bun.
and my little baker testing the product
Anara tested one when she got up from her nap
let's just say she liked it
We also made cards...I made this one for my Mum for Mothering Sunday.
